In the last few weeks have been concentrating on the importance of nurturing your family communication being the key to survival in financial crisis, especially in the sudden loss due to layoffs. My family and I survived three occasions of job layoffs and the resulting financial chaos because of a family nurturing communication attitude. I share with you the words of wisdom from scripture that helped our family during the stress and anxiety of the loss of financial security and were the foundation of our family prayer time.
“How am I going to take care of my family?” is the lament of the laid off.
