Family- Recovery from Financial Ruin:The Lord is Your Shepherd

This morning I'm remembering the emotional status of our family Christmas '82 when my husband came home with the news of the layoff. If you remember from reading my book, I thought he was coming home with news of a promotion. I'm writing this in comfort to you; you will get through this time that seems bleak.

Christmas activity will keep you busy; let the fullness of the season play out. If you let the reason for the season be your primary focus, it'll get you mind off the predicament for a while. Celebrate the birth of Jesus-make that your family's focus. Attend Christmas events; the traditional Christmas Carols are full of the Gospel message, read them..form a neighborhood carolers group and sing to your neighbors, followed by hot chocolate and Christmas cookies...(you can tell my primary orientation is the cold areas of the US).

Thatt little Baby Boy born in a manger grew up to be your Shepherd; He will guide you in your recovery into pastures green and restore your soul.

Continuing in Him,

Miss Huldah
